The Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015 is finished. On 29 June, personalities from design, economy and politics honoured the best designers of the year. The jury for the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2015 has been chosen. A total of 27 design experts from all over the world will assess the works of the participants in this year’s competition. The creative competition is once again looking for the best projects from the fields of Corporate Design, Packaging, Game Design and more: Designers, advertisers, marketing professionals and up-and-coming new talent have a total of 17 categories to choose from for their entries. Every year, Red Dot invites highly respected figures from the world of design to rate the international contributions to the competition and to award the best creative achievements. The software company Adobe will be the exclusive sponsor of the Red Dot: Junior Prize in 2015. The global leader for creative solutions in digital marketing and digital media will support the distinction, which is granted as part of the Red Dot Award: Communication Design. The Red Dot: Junior Prize is awarded to the world’s best piece of work from a trainee, student or young designer in the current competition and is endowed with EUR 10,000 prize money. The objective is to facilitate their access to the professional world, allowing them to convince potential clients of their own skills as early as possible. More.

In the last years, due to numerous entries with the highest creative potential Taiwan has become one of the leading countries in the Red Dot Award: Communication Design. 2014 alone, more than 70 projects from Taiwanese designers have were awarded in the competition. 12 works were even awarded with the Red Dot: Best of the Best, the distinction for highest design quality.
