The expression “hunger for adventure” has been taken literally by the Jeep Snacks campaign. In order to give city people a taste of the outdoor life in a four-wheel drive vehicle, exotic snacks were offered in shopping centres, railway stations, car parks and Jeep showrooms. Mopane worms from Zambia, scorpions from Thailand or zebra tarantulas from Cambodia in convenient snack packs are to whet the public’s appetite for special outdoor experiences and show how hungry for adventure they really are. Those who tried the Jeep snacks could win a Jeep off-road training and were thus given the chance to satisfy their hunger for adventure also behind the wheel.
