Taiwan Koji Pottery
This publication deals with Koji pottery, a Taiwanese art form. Traditionally, this pottery, which is manufactured with several coats of glaze, served as temple decoration, representing, for example, gods, animals or plants. The two volumes of this comprehensive publication are enclosed in a wooden slip box, with the gilt lettered title standing out effectively. Another particularity is the cover page, crafted like a three dimensional frame which features a colourful, embedded piece of pottery.
