The Phoenix and The Sycamore Tree

Based on an old Chinese proverb that reads “a fine bird chooses for itself the tree upon which to perch”, this residential building realises the notion that, similar to the symbolism of the Phoenix and the Sycamore tree, it creates an irresistible attraction between beautiful design, architecture and the residents within. The design of the building was inspired by the concept of the Phoenix returning to its nest. Featuring a modern architectural and interior design, geometric lines resembling the action of flight and an orientation system created specifically for this project, the goal was to lead the residents back to their most beautiful and desired abode.
