In 2015, its anniversary year, the Design Zentrum NRW establishes a new distinction: the Red Dot: Brand of the Year. In every competition’s year of the Red Dot Award: Communication Design, there is one brand that creates innovative design solutions in a particularly high degree and convinces the Red Dot jury with various entries. Honoured is design quality and decisiveness in brand management – regardless whether placed on the expertise of external agencies or on the company’s own award-winning communications.
Awards & titles
The different distinctions are the well-deserved reward for ones own performance and at the same time symbol for the campaign’s cogency. Those who convince the expert jury may adorn his or her work with a Red Dot and set creative all-time highs. Outstanding projects deserve outstanding recognition. This is why there are different distinctions in the Red Dot Award: Communication Design: the Red Dot, the Red Dot: Best of the Best and the Red Dot: Grand Prix. Not forgetting the titles of honour Red Dot: Agency of the Year and Red Dot: Brand of the Year as well as the Red Dot: Junior Prize, endowed with 10,000 Euro.
