People buying a pair of glasses don’t expect to see a pair of eyes staring at them when they open the packaging. Yet, all the more reason to have them see just that! That’s at least what Grafik Plastic from South Korea thought when they conceived of their unusual presentation concept. Seeing another face has buyers identifying, or not, with those wearing “their” glasses. Moreover, they also realize how much glasses can change a face. Grafik Factory made a deliberate choice to deliver cheeky packaging design that has buyers looking twice. For the campaign “graphic people:2000 Project,” some 2000 were people photographed. In this way, the firm is charting new territory as regards tactile experience as well as interaction with clients, all in sync with the trend toward holistic branding.
