About Prof. Philipp Teufel
Prof. Philipp Teufel studied visual communication and scenography at the University for Design (HfG) in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, Germany. From 1985 to 1995 he was a partner of the design agency “conceptdesign” in Frankfurt am Main, until 2007 a member of the studio community “nowakteufelknyrim” and is leading the studio “malsyteufel” in Willich since 2008. His most important projects in the field of scenography include, for example, the German Film Museum, the New Museum Berlin and the House of the Forest in Stuttgart. Between 2010 and 2015 he was deputy overall project manager for the scenography of the Humbolt Forum in the Berlin Palace, from 2011 to 2014 he was part of the Art Council for the graphic design of the special postage stamps at the Federal Ministry of Finance. Philipp Teufel has been teaching and researching in the field of 3D communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf for more than 20 years. Moreover he leads the bachelor’s programme in retail design.
