The Korea National Contemporary Dance Company represents contemporary dance in South Korea. To express the dynamic creativity of this dance form, the company’s new corporate identity focuses on a typography-based appearance that is strengthened by the use of contrasting colours. The partial repetitions and transformations of the Korean writing are likewise eye-catching. The modern impression of the Hangul (Korean alphabet) characters, along with the contrast between monochrome and colour, stresses the elegance of the visual elements and underlines the artistic importance of contemporary dance.
