WINNER Debut Album “2014 S/S” Branding

The brand concept design to promote the debut album of the Korean pop band WINNER was stylistically inspired by high-end fashion labels. The CD cover as well as the booklet were designed to emulate a tabloid. The album was released in 2014 with a “WINNER Launching Show” where the members of the band introduced their music and their look by walking down a catwalk like on a fashion show. All three different CD packages look to provide a high fashion feeling with their clean-cut lines and limited use of colours. A further component of the CD’s branding promotion is the “WINNER Debut Week”, a publication that contains backstage photos of the band’s debut performances, an introduction of the members and their musical direction, as well presented in a tabloid manner.
