Chicken floss and shreds are popular foods in Chinese culture; hence there are many similar products on the market. In order to break out of the traditional market, the product has been repositioned not only as an ingredient for home cooking, but also as a snack for all ages. Therefore, the main goal of the new packaging design is to create a unique image. The product characters with their pop hairstyle have been developed to have a trendy, colourful and chicken-like appearance in order to target a younger consumer group.
