With its colourful composition, the catalogue for the Bochum-based carpet manufacturer miinu garners attention and stands out from competitors’ publications. The idea behind the design concept was to combine the artwork that served as inspiration for each carpet’s design with an image of the carpet to form a single entity. The result was a kind of art catalogue, in which the transition between carpet and artwork fluently blends. The image part at the beginning reveals information on the company’s history and philosophy. Furthermore, the catalogue informs about materials, measurements, prices and serial numbers.
