The calendar “Prost Hamburg 2015” was developed for direct mailing to promote the Hamburg letterpress label Gebrüder Virchow. The idea was to invent twelve fictitious beers for the city of Hamburg, which are all featured on the cover of the calendar. With a wink and a nudge, each calendar page shows an elaborately illustrated motif in combination with small claims telling little stories in the form of beer mats. The calendar features a sophisticated mix of letterpress and offset printing, additionally enhanced by blind embossing.
