The aim in designing “Marimbondo” magazine was to visualise complex art and culture themes in an easy-to-understand graphical manner. Landscape and portrait formats of vivid appeal project an iconographic significance that monitors the relationship of readers to the subject. The individual covers distinguish themselves through a visually powerful design and colouring. The hornet, which lends the magazine its name, is represented in the reductive symbolic form with high recognition value. Derived from the logo, the choice for the typographic texts opts for visual comfort and tranquillity.
