Städel Museum

As a multimedia companion, enriched with a wealth of background information, the Städel app allows direct access to more than 100 works of the museum’s collection. Specially marked works can be recognised via an integrated image scanner and, in a way that arouses curiosity, the app leads the viewer to additional information about these art works. Beside short texts, various audio tracks and videos are available free of charge; audio guides of current exhibitions can be purchased. Designed for iOS and Android smartphones, this app allows for an even more intensive visitor experience both on a visual and auditory level.
