[User Interface Design]

KARL MAYER Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH, Obertshausen

HMI Project GmbH, Würzburg

KAMCOS 2.0 is a touch-optimised user interface for textile machines in the field of industrial production. By means of a 15” multitouch panel installed in the cabinet, the operator controls the machine’s functions and is guided through daily tasks. These range from simple production monitoring and mechanical conversion to servicing. The operating concept has a modular structure, and the contents of the production overview can be customised to the requirements of user roles or machine properties. Functional animations support the interaction.
