VAIO TP Series Personal Computer

The VAIO TP1 is a computer designed for connectivity to the home television with a single HDMI cable. This gives the user access to a large number of video and music functions in the home environment. When connected to the TV, the device can play videos in HD quality and other content stored on the PC hard drive, all with a single TV remote control. It is also possible to access Internet services. The buttons and lights are embedded around the edges to eliminate protrusions, so that the design blends harmoniously into the living room interior. Even the cable connection is concealed to achieve a clean, 360-degree look. The TP1 is the core model in a new series of digital home products connecting the PC with consumer electronic components in the living room. Its design appeals to a wide range of users because it introduces shapes and colours that shake off the “difficult” PC image to create an image of “enjoyable” and “new”.
