Tuan Cha Series

This design concept combines the art of tea making with the art of packaging design. The packaging imitates the look of rolled oolong tea leaves and is reminiscent of a rolled-up ball of tea, with its indentation clearly visible on the surface of the packaging. Four different methods of brewing tea are introduced through illustrations on the inside of the packet. Another advantage of this packaging is the use of kraft paper as an environmentally friendly, biodegradable material. The earth tones of the paper visualise the natural origins of the tea.
