Herbal Liqueur Marienapotheke Pharmacy, Wasserburg am Inn

The Marienapotheke pharmacy in the German town of Wasserburg am Inn, which was founded in 1523, has a long-standing tradition of producing an herbal liqueur according to their own recipe. The design concept of the packaging series is based on interplay between historical and modern elements, the combination of high-quality workmanship and straightforward design, as well as the contrast between black and white. The objective was to visualise both the historical and the pharmaceutical connection, while highlighting the premium nature of the product. The labels on the bottles feature the pharmacy’s logo in the form of a modular, relief-embossed seal of quality.
