This soup brand from Munich was established in 1982 and has its own market stall at the famous Viktualienmarkt farmers’ market in Munich. For the relaunch of their soup range, which is available in supermarkets, the packaging design highlights the benefits of the product and communicates freshness, handmade pure quality and also Bavarian tradition. In order to tell this story on a sealed cup of soup, the product is named “Marktsuppe” (farmers’ market soup). Hand-sketched drawings of vegetables and other design elements attract consumers thanks to their colourful market feel, while a matching handwriting type underscores the natural ingredients.
