In order to celebrate the 44th anniversary of their agency, employees of the Peter Schmidt Group had the “schnaps” idea (a German expression for a crazy idea) to produce their own gin. Together with an experienced distiller and their favourite bartenders, they combined 44 harmonious botanicals into a gin with exactly 44 per cent alcohol. In line with this original promotional idea, 44 different designers from the agency’s teams and locations developed 44 different labels for this celebratory spirit; one for each of the botanicals, which makes Gin44 a collector’s item and equally a design inspiration for the agency’s clients.
