Tojang is a Korean-style bean sauce that is fermented in a traditional clay pot, creating a deep and rich flavour. The packaging design reinterprets the traditional pot shape with a modern twist and the irregular wave pattern on the surface adds another layer of authenticity. The black coloured lid conveys the image of charcoal, which was put into the pot for purification when fermenting the paste. The image of a traditional Korean house on the label, drawn with a fine pen, expresses a sense of delicate care and attention given to the entire process of making the sauce.
