Beluga Café

The visual concept for the Beluga Café, located in the centre of São Paulo, is a mashup of different elements, pieced together to form a subjective, graphic synthesis of the city. This evokes both beauty and estrangement, capturing the different nuances of São Paulo. The illustrations for the packaging were composed of paint strokes created with black acrylic paint and a roller, random lines drawn with a roller ball pen and fragments of photographs of the city. These illustrations were then photocopied in black and white until the desired contrast was achieved.
