Wei Guangqing – Plus or Minus Zero

Conceptualised for the exhibition “Wei Guangqing – Plus or Minus Zero”, this publication features various works by the Chinese artist Wei Guangqing created over a period of 30 years. The design integrates elements from ancient books, divided and then rearranged Chinese characters and sentences, thus giving rise to an interweaving character. This process is interpreted as a salute and recreation of the artist’s creative concepts. Furthermore, 3D effects are used to show changes of individual destinies and radical transformations of social conditions in a large virtual space.
