LG USP Pictogram

As graphic imagery that provides explanations for mobile product features, the LG USP pictogram system was designed to effectively deliver information about complicated features and specifications to the consumer. All pictograms follow particular design principles in order to consistently convey the design identity and deliver the message. The new pictogram design is based on the circle and a geometric grid system, and it expresses the pictogram’s character by partially removing lines. The remaining lines suffice to easily express more complicated features and make them recognisable, even when printed in a small font size.
