“Vom Hundertsten ins Tausendste” (rambling on) is a reference work about communication consisting of two parts, whose contents are connected by an index. The first part presents an abstract pictorial world using quotes and a story, which contains allusions to the history of communication. The latter is what the second book deals with in the form of a chronologically structured encyclopaedia. Aiming to express progress, the design supports the course of the development of different kinds of means of communication.
