Museum SAN Calendar

Museum SAN – which literally means “mountain” – designed by famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando, is an art museum in South Korea that is located at the top of a mountain. Its unobtrusive architecture is characterised by the vast green landscape surrounding it. Ranging from a paper gallery to contemporary art, the museum’s collection provides an inspiring experience. This calendar was created for the museum’s opening invitation in order to promote the identity of SAN. It intends to communicate its special character as a place where art and culture are harmonised with natural surroundings and the four seasons. Therefore, the SAN logo on each monthly page was coloured differently referring to the mountain environment changing with the seasons.
