Philharmonic Orchestra Bielefeld Season 2015/2016

The poster series announces the 2015/2016 season of the Philharmonic Orchestra Bielefeld. The large-format motifs visualise the symphony concerts in a surrealistic manner. Inspired by the message and the instrumentation of the pieces, fantasy worlds were created which, for instance, depict harps as moths or flutes as dragonflies and complement the auditory experience with an artistic and visual element. The posters were deliberately designed without any explanatory information. The motifs speak for themselves. A City Light Poster campaign, which ran parallel, provided information about the events.
