The new web portal of Lia Rumantscha, a charitable institution founded in 1919 and located in Chur (Switzerland), has been successfully turned into an event and information platform for people interested in learning more about the Romansh language and culture. The organisation thereby deliberately relies on the interaction and involvement of users, in accordance to the claim “We have the responsibility to provide platforms, the population has to take over responsibility for the survival of its own language”. As a novelty, users can register and publish own Romansh events in the calendar section of the portal.
