Last Call
Every day, food that has not been sold at restaurants ends up dumped in landfills. The Last Call app aims at reducing the amount of food wasted in this way. The app is run by a late-night delivery service, inviting restaurants to sell their remaining food at discount prices via the app shortly before they close instead of throwing it away. Users can simply choose from a range of food, which is listed and subdivided into various categories, and thus save money thanks to the reduced prices.
