Vimágua is a reusable, 100 per cent recyclable and lightweight water bottle, created for local school communities in order to promote the consumption of tap water. The decorative bottle raises awareness among youth about the importance of water to the environment and health. Its packaging design, inspired by both a drop and the ripple effect on the water surface, is ergonomic for children to use and is designed to fit in a small lunch bag. The 450 ml PET bottle weighs only 25 grams, and its manufacturing process uses less energy than reusable bottles produced with other materials. The PP cap is also fully optimised and weighs only 1.5 grams.
